ChargerGoGo Sales Meeting Best Practices

1. Before the meeting

  • Review the venue’s business type, location, customer profile, decision-maker, and previous communication.
  • Define the goal of the meeting: understand the venue, present the right ChargerGoGo solution, and secure a clear next step.
  • Be familiar with ChargerGoGo station options, venue benefits, approved revenue-share terms, placement requirements, venue agreements, and current sales materials.
  • For in-person meetings, arrive a few minutes early. For virtual meetings, join 2-3 minutes early to test your camera, microphone, and internet connection.
  • Have product photos, specification sheets, venue brochures, presentations, agreement materials, and other relevant documents ready before the meeting begins.

2. Professional Appearance & Meeting Setup

Distribution Partners are expected to maintain a professional and consistent ChargerGoGo brand image when meeting with venues.

Attire

  • Avoid caps or hats during customer-facing meetings.
  • Business casual attire is recommended.
  • ChargerGoGo-branded T-shirts or polos are appropriate.
  • Clothing should be clean, neat, and appropriate for meeting venue owners, managers, and staff.

Meeting Setup

  • For in-person meetings, choose an appropriate area to speak with the venue decision-maker.
  • For virtual meetings, use an approved ChargerGoGo background or a clean, professional environment.
  • Avoid noisy, distracting, or unprofessional environments.
  • For virtual meetings, keep your camera on when appropriate, use good lighting, and position the camera around eye level.

3. During the Meeting

  • Be punctual, positive, confident, and professional.
  • Introduce yourself as a ChargerGoGo Distribution Partner and establish a friendly conversation before presenting the solution.
  • Ask questions first. Understand the venue’s customers, operating environment, guest needs, current charging challenges, priorities, decision process, and concerns before recommending a solution.
  • Listen carefully and avoid interrupting the venue contact.
  • Do not simply read from a script or presentation. Use visuals, product examples, and demonstrations to make the conversation practical.
  • Keep explanations clear, concise, and conversational.
  • Focus on how ChargerGoGo can improve the guest experience, add a useful amenity, simplify phone charging, and provide applicable revenue opportunities for the venue.
  • Personalize the conversation based on the venue type, customer behavior, operating environment, and available station placement instead of giving every venue the same pitch.
  • Never provide venue terms, pricing, revenue-share information, installation expectations, or other information you are unsure about. Verify and follow up instead of guessing.
  • Do not speak negatively about competitors. Explain ChargerGoGo’s advantages to the venue based on factual differences.
  • Avoid profanity, inappropriate jokes, political discussions, gossip, or controversial topics.
  • Stay focused on the venue contact. Do not text, browse unrelated websites, eat, or multitask during the meeting.

4. Closing the Meeting

Every venue sales meeting should end with a clear next step.

Examples include:

  • Schedule a follow-up meeting with the venue.
  • Send a recap email or requested venue information.
  • Send the venue agreement or other required onboarding materials.
  • Confirm the recommended station model, quantity, or placement.
  • Schedule a conversation with another venue decision-maker if needed.
  • Confirm a specific follow-up date and owner for the next action.

Before ending, summarize what was discussed and confirm what both the Distribution Partner and the venue will do next.

Thank the venue contact for their time.

5. After the Meeting

  • Update your venue lead tracking system or CRM promptly.
  • Record the decision-maker, venue interest, proposed station placement, questions, objections, and commitments.
  • Update the correct venue or deal status.
  • Create the appropriate follow-up task with a specific due date.
  • Send all promised brochures, agreements, product information, links, or other materials promptly.
  • Follow through on every commitment made during the meeting.
