The new location brings portable phone charging to a historic Pasadena stadium where mobile access plays an increasingly important role in the guest experience.

PASADENA, Calif. — ChargerGoGo has expanded its shared power bank rental network to Rose Bowl Stadium with the deployment of its first few C32 Pro Outdoor Units in late 2025, giving guests another way to stay connected throughout sporting events, concerts, and other live experiences.

Located in Pasadena, northeast of Los Angeles, Rose Bowl Stadium opened in October 1922 and is recognized as a National Historic Landmark.

A Historic Venue Serving the Modern Guest

Rose Bowl Stadium has welcomed generations of fans. But the way guests experience major events has changed significantly.

A phone now supports nearly every stage of the event journey.

Guests may depend on their devices for digital tickets, mobile payments, event schedules, navigation, communication, photos, social sharing, and transportation after the event. When a phone battery runs low, each of those activities becomes more difficult.

For a major venue, charging access is more than a small convenience. It is part of the infrastructure that helps keep the guest experience moving.

Helping Guests Stay Connected and Mobile

Traditional charging options often require guests to remain beside an outlet or leave their devices unattended. ChargerGoGo provides portable power banks that guests can carry as they continue moving through the venue.

The rental process is designed to be straightforward: guests scan the QR code on a station, complete the rental, take a charged power bank, and return it to a ChargerGoGo station after use.

That mobility matters in a stadium environment.

Guests can continue walking between seating areas, concessions, hospitality spaces, and other parts of the venue while charging their phones. They do not have to choose between staying connected and participating in the event.

Removing a Common Point of Guest Friction

Modern venues are judged by more than what happens on the field or stage. Every part of the visit contributes to the overall experience.

A low battery can interrupt a mobile purchase, prevent a guest from contacting their group, limit access to event information, or make it more difficult to arrange a ride home.

Charging access gives venues another practical way to reduce that friction.

It also helps support the behaviors that make live events more connected. Fans can capture important moments, communicate with friends and family, access digital services, and share their experience without having to conserve every remaining percentage of battery life.

Expanding ChargerGoGo’s High-Traffic Venue Network

The Rose Bowl Stadium location represents another step in ChargerGoGo’s expansion across stadiums, live events, hospitality locations, restaurants, campuses, and other high-traffic physical environments.

Each new venue makes portable charging more accessible while strengthening the broader ChargerGoGo network.

For venue operators, the opportunity is straightforward: address a problem guests already experience without introducing unnecessary operational complexity.

For guests, it means having access to power when staying connected matters most.

Historic Venue. Modern Infrastructure.

Rose Bowl Stadium has remained relevant for more than a century by bringing people together for memorable live experiences.

As those experiences become increasingly dependent on mobile technology, venues need infrastructure that supports how guests navigate, pay, communicate, participate, and get home.

ChargerGoGo is proud to help make that infrastructure available at Rose Bowl Stadium.

Bring ChargerGoGo to your stadium, arena, or event venue and give guests a simple way to stay connected.
