Madelyn Alfano, the innovative CEO and owner of Maria's Italian Kitchen, has transformed the family-owned grocery/deli into a thriving 100% woman privately owned restaurant group with eight locations and a multimillion-dollar business. Headquartered in Los Angeles, the company now encompasses casual dining, central commissary, and catering kitchen enterprises with over 380 dedicated employees. As the 2020 Chair of the Statewide California Restaurant Association, Madelyn collaborated with government officials to safeguard 100,000 restaurant owners and their employees during the COVID-19 pandemic.
An influential leader in YPO and Co-Chair of the YPO Food and Beverage Network, Madelyn represents thousands of hospitality owners worldwide. A proud UCLA graduate with a BS in Psychology and an MDE from the UCLA Anderson Business School, Madelyn lives in Venice Beach, CA, with her husband, Dr. Jeffrey Tucker, and their three children. Her inspiring leadership has earned her the Beacon Award from The Foodservice Council for Women and recognition as one of the top 200 Most Influential Leaders by the San Fernando Business Journal in 2021.
