What You’ll Do
- Manage and maintain general ledger accounts and perform monthly reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
- Process invoices, payments, reimbursements, and payroll entries
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Maintain records for revenue, expenses, distributions, and tax filings
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to track payouts and partner settlements
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Coordinate with external CPA or tax advisors as needed
- Oversee and improve internal financial controls and approval workflows
- Monitor company cash flow, financial risks, and compliance requirements
- Lead preparation of financial reports for leadership and investors
- Contribute to strategic planning by providing financial insights and scenario modeling
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in accounting or financial operations (startup or tech preferred)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting systems
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and a proactive problem-solving mindset
Bonus Points For
- Experience with Stripe, Shopify, or SaaS-related revenue recognition
- Familiarity with inventory accounting or cost of goods tracking
- Experience managing internal controls, audits, or cash flow forecasting
- Interest in process improvement or automation tools (e.g., Airtable, Zapier)
